Member Restrictions:
No guys allowed.
No one under the age of 13 years old will be permitted. If you do so, it will result in you being permanently banned. You will have caused me to break the law. We don't appreciate that. We have no way of knowing how old you really are, thus we cannot be held responsible for members who lie about their age. Please be mature and be honest.
If you are over the age of 18, please state your age in your signature.
You may only have 1 screen name. Please respect this. Bans may be handed out by an admin as they see fit if a person is caught with multiple screen names and has not told an admin. If you wish to change your username you can do so under your profile where it says "Name: This is the displayed name that people will see".
Debates:
You will respect the person with whom you are debating. This includes not bashing their beliefs in any way, shape, or form. It also includes not making any type of mean spirited accusations. No slander against other members will be permitted. If you make an accusation and they take offense at it, you may be banned.
You will not call other members names that are mean-spirited or derogatory.
When debating do not try to force other members into debates, and after debates have reached a dead point you will let it go.
You will show maturity, integrity, and some sense dignity on the boards at all times. No foolishness, please. Admins may interpret this rule as it applies to the situation, but a warning will be given before anyone is banned.
Forum Restrictions:
The Jokes and Games forum is where all games should go. Please do not start duplicate games if the original is still going. They may be deleted without warning if you do. Also as games get extremely large they may be deleted.
Keeping it Clean:
Please, no swearing. There will be a three day ban per swear word used. If in doubt as to what qualifies as swearing, PM an admin or mod.
There will be no vulgar, obscene sexual talk or images permitted on the board. Again, if in doubt, PM an admin or mod. Bannings for this will be a minimum of seven days.
Spam:
Please do not post simply to raise your post count. Only post when you have something to say.
Please do not post just to brag about your postcount.
It is not considered spamming to agree with somebody, however, please don't post just to say, "me too," unless you have something to contribute to the topic.
Spam is no fun, so let's keep it down.
Miscellaneous:
Plagiarism will not be tolerated! It is illegal, and will result in you being banned. Give credit where credit is due. There will be a two-week ban per plagiarized post. If you have a question about whether or not you need to cite somebody, please PM an admin or mod.
Please do not use images bigger that 200x200 (pixels wide by pixels high) for an avatar or bigger than 100x500 (pixels wide by pixels high) for a banner in your signature. This might not be strictly inforced, but please don't use huge images in your signature/avatar.
If you want to post a link to another board or site, you MUST ask the admin's permission first! The admin will look over the board/site, and tell you if you may post the link. In the event that you are allowed to post the link, put it in the Missing Links forum.
Please try to post on topic. Pointless posts in the midst of debates will be deleted. If a question is directed at you, please answer it, or yield to the person you are discussing with. Do not hop around and avoid them. Keep it straight, plain, and clean. Endless posts about nothing are forbidden. And if taken out of hand, may cause you to be banned. Admins will decide.
Please, we are a family. Treat each other like family. Love each other. No death threats, whether you be joking or not. Do not express hatred toward any of the members, please. This may cause you to be banned for a minimum of three days. The final decision will be up to the administrators.
I don't want to see any links to sites that promote illegal activity. By this, I mean hacking or warez, just to name a few. Admins will determine the length of the ban depending on the nature of the site.
You will not try to defeat a ban. Do not use siblings accounts, or create a new account. This is a 3-7 day ban. You also may not post in the anonymous board excessively during a ban (It's there just incase you have a question for a mod\admin). Doing so will have you IP banned even longer. To appeal a ban, contact an admin.
Please, no topic necromancy. By this I mean don't go find a topic that's back on page 3 that nobody has touched for two weeks and bump it back to the top of the list. If you seriously have something to add to it, then by all means, you are welcome to bring it back, but don't bring it up just to agree with something that someone said 3 weeks ago.
Other Guidlines:
Everyone is expected to take responsibility for his or her posts. If something didn't come out the way you meant it, please rephrase it, apologize if anyone was offended, and move on. If someone has gotten into your account, please let an admin know immediately and we will try to get it under control and let everyone know that not all your recent posts were made by you.
Please respect the mods and admins. We do our best to pick people who are mature, responsible, and reasonable for these positions. Please work with them.
Please try to use proper spelling. It gets really hard having to "translate" from whatever it is that you are typing. We weren't taught how to spell using phonetics in school, so please try not to use them here; it makes it very distracting, and often times makes it harder to read what it is you are saying.
